This week’s tune is a song about empathy and understanding that we are all going through similar situations.

A Song About Empathy

The Zac Brown Band is an American country/rock band from Atlanta. They have released 7 albums since the start of their musical career in 2002, and have collaborated with many artists including Jason Mraz, Avicii, and Jimmy Buffet. The group recently released a new single in June 2021. The song “Same Boat” is all about empathy. It emphasizes that most of us are going through similar situations and we should therefore be kind and understanding to others. It also warns us about judging others too quickly without knowing their background or circumstances. It’s a song with a positive and motivating message that resonates with most listeners.
