You don’t need to be a TeamBonding client to refer. To qualify, anyone you refer must be a new client to TeamBonding and based in the continental United States. It’s ok if you and they work within the same company, but you must work on different teams or in different departments / divisions.
There’s no limit to how many people you can refer (the more, the merrier). However, if you earn $600 or more through our referral program within one calendar year, a 1099 tax form will be generated and sent to you for tax reporting purposes.
We offer a 90-day period for your referral to book an event after you’ve given them your referral link. If 90 days have passed and your potential referral still wants to book an event, you will need to re-share your unique link and ask them to click on that again prior to submitting an event booking request online.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to track new event signups made outside of your referral link. Please be sure anyone you refer signs up using your unique link.
Rewards are sent after your referral completes their first TeamBonding event. You’ll both receive an email with instructions from our partner Tremendous with the option to redeem your rewards as a Visa gift card or as a donation to the charity of your choice.
Yes! Once you sign up, you’ll receive your referral link and access to your personal dashboard to track your referrals and rewards.
By participating in TeamBonding’s Referral Program (the “Program”), you agree to the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). TeamBonding reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program or these Terms at any time, without prior notice.
Eligibility
- Must be a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States or D.C., aged 18 or older.
- Cannot refer yourself or someone on your own team. Internal referrals must be across departments/divisions.
- A valid IRS W-9 form is required before rewards totaling $600 or more are issued.
- In cases of duplicate referrals, TeamBonding will honor the first submission.
Referral Criteria
- Referral must be a new contact with no prior TeamBonding activity.
- They must complete their first event within 90 days of using your link.
- Only one referrer per referral will be credited.
Reward Payment
- Rewards are issued after the event is completed.
- Available as Visa gift cards or charitable donations.
- Rewards and delivery timelines are subject to change.
- A 1099 form will be issued if you earn $600+ in a year. A valid W-9 is required or rewards will be forfeited after 180 days.
- All rewards may be considered taxable income.
Additional Terms
- TeamBonding may verify referrer and referral eligibility.
- Abuse or fraud will result in disqualification and forfeiture of rewards.
