The Shark Teams program is based on the hit TV show Shark Tank, so, your teams will identify a critical new idea or project, and work together to fully develop their concept. Then comes the test….how well will they do with “selling” their idea to the Sharks?
Teams will make brief, dynamic presentations to a board of “Sharks” in an attempt to garner support for their innovation, with the audience weighing in on the final decision via electronic voting. Shark Teams can be comprised of executives from your company, TeamBonding staff, charity representatives (if this option is selected), or a combination of these based on the preference of the client.
After an icebreaker, teams will have plenty of time to brainstorm and develop a product or concept before making their pitch. Teams will develop an idea in one of several areas, and fully develop a proposal for their concept:
- Create a new product or feature to an existing product in the company’s line of business.
- Create a new process that will help improve the company’s bottom line, and/or enhance operations.
- Create a new marketing strategy that will either launch a new product, relaunch a current product, or promote the company in general. Marketing can be print, TV, radio, multimedia, web based, video, etc.
- Create a new philosophy or guiding principle that will enhance your company’s image and branding, inspire employees, and/or communicate your vision to customers, employees, and competitors alike.
2 - 3 hours
The Shark Teams program can be held in your office building, a ballroom or conference room. 20 sq. feet per participant is a good guideline.
