New Orleans heat is as legendary as the city itself, and we take it seriously. We design routes with pacing, shade, and rest stops in mind, and strongly encourage teams to dress lightly, wear sunscreen, and stay well hydrated throughout the experience. Early morning or evening start times can be arranged for summer events to take full advantage of New Orleans’ magical, cooler golden hours—and the city looks stunning in that light.
