I love being able to meet and work with new and interesting people each day and find creative ways to bring them together using the power of play!
I love leading Soles for Souls and the Do Good Bus. In Soles, I get to watch folks step out of their shell and get creative for a great cause. On the Do Good Bus, we get to step out of the office and into a whole day of service. There’s fun and bonding, but the best part is the opportunity to make a real difference in our community and the world around us as a team. You can’t beat that.
I would love to have Hermoine Granger on my team. She’s intelligent, compassionate, kind, and brave. But most of all, she is loyal to her friends and fiercely protective. Sounds like a pretty great team mate to me!
There are so many wonderful and memorable experiences getting to lead teams in these awesome events, but one of the most memorable has to be the first time I got to do a big reveal at the close of a Charity Bike Build when the kids that were receiving the bikes were there to see them. The unbridled joy from the kids and the full understanding from the teams who built them- priceless.
A reusable water bottle, a lighter and a lamp with a genie in it that grants three wishes… what more could I need? 😉
The Gummy Bears theme song- its nostalgic, fun and encouraging.
Australia & New Zealand are on the top of my list right now! I’ve been to 20+ countries, so I am excited to check some more off the list
