Team Building Tip: Surprise me! But really, no.

Share

It may seem like a good idea to surprise your team with a team building exercise, but this is generally a no-no.

It is much easier to encourage participation, have fun, and enjoy an event when participants are not surprised. That being said, don’t tell them everything about the event, because it will ruin the fun.

Don’t spell out t-e-a-m b-u-i-l-d-i-n-g in the team building exercise name, but make it clear that you’re planning an activity that everyone will enjoy together.
