Little Library kits, BIG team impact!
Imagine the joy of putting books into children’s hands and sparking a love for reading—Little Team Library makes that happen! In this fun, collaborative event, teams will come together to assemble and decorate a Little Free Library® kit, as well as co-write a children’s book using the power of AI.
As teams bond over shared stories and creative ideas, they’ll divide and conquer tasks to build a library and craft a story that’s as unique as their team. Whether you’re a designated carpenter, artist, or author, everyone plays a part in bringing the lending library to life.
Teams will need to collaborate closely, picking out themes and designing a library that draws in the community. Once your little library box is complete, you’ll join forces with another team to build and paint your finished Little Library kit. At the end of the event, each team will present their finished library and share their stories with the entire group.
Together, you’ll build a little library that leaves a lasting impact one book at a time!
Everyone will feel like a winner as they build a little library to be placed in nearby local neighborhoods where such resources are scarce. It couldn’t be easier to give the gift of literacy!
Space requirement

A large space is needed with a table for each team (teams of 8) and chairs for each participant. Additionally, you’ll need 2-3 rectangular tables set aside near the front of the room for event materials. For groups larger than 50, will need a microphone and connected sound system.
Tailoring

A custom placement of the finished libraries is possible with enough notice, as are custom placards for the libraries with 6-8 weeks advance notice.
