Turn your pumpkins into Jack-o-Lanterns with Virtual Pumpkin Carving.
Beyond serving as a funny and engaging host, your MC for this event also happens to be a master pumpkin carver. Everyone on your team can share in the camaraderie and fun, regardless of prior experience or proven artistic talent. Some will even win awards and prizes.
Designs can range from traditional styles to imaginative works of art. Once all the pumpkins are finished, insert the safe candle-style lights (batteries included!) to bring the team’s creations to life. Show them off to your teammates online, then everyone can move their jack-o’-lanterns outside as a show of spooky holiday spirit.

Space requirement

Each participant needs a space to carve, along with a webcam-equipped computer. We ship out individual carving kits, along with guidelines for choosing the perfect pumpkin. Obviously, your group will need to provide their own pumpkins. Trying to safely ship these giant orange fruits is a thought too frightening even for us. (Hey, did you know that pumpkin is technically a fruit?)

Online pumpkin carving FAQ
You’ll have everything you need! Your team will receive carving kits with tools to clean and carve their pumpkins, along with carving instructions and a fire-safe candle. The only thing participants need to buy is their own pumpkin, because pumpkins are fragile—but picking your own pumpkin is half the fun!
That’s up to you! Your team can vote on categories like most creative pumpkin, spookiest design, best team spirit, and anything else they dream up. This is part of the pumpkin carving games, and picking the award categories helps keep everyone engaged.
The only difference between the two experiences is that you’re on Zoom! It’s the same interactive experience that encourages communication, fun, and Halloween spirit.
This event typically lasts between one and two hours, depending on the size of your group and how intricate their designs are! We usually suggest planning for two hours, but if you don’t have that much time, let us know and we’ll adjust accordingly.
