The TeamBonding Treatment
“The first time I partnered up with TeamBonding I visited Salesforce in Burlington MA where employees were literally jumping through hoops, laughing, smiling, passing deodorant and toothpaste down their assembly line making care packs for outreach clients at Lowell Transitional Living Center. It was my pleasure to meet the group and talk to the leaders from TeamBonding about how they were able to combine fun activities and creative games into a charitable giving day.”
After working to understand the needs and the mission of Juniper, TeamBonding began working with local non-profits to track down group volunteer opportunities, arrange transportation, and plan lunch as part of the Do Good Bus volunteer program.
“Soon after, I was contacted by TeamBonding again, this time to receive their Mystery Bus full of volunteers from Juniper Networks of Westford, MA. I sent them off with Richard Boucher, our multitasking facilities manager, to paint the dayroom in the men’s dorm.”
The Results
“I wish I took before and after pictures! I didn’t think of it until one of our Juniper volunteers said how much better the room looked already, after only a half an hour. Three more volunteers also helped out with office work and other jobs around the shelter.
They stayed for four hours, lead by their TeamBonding captain, and the room looks so fresh and inviting now! The 60 men living with us at LTLC will be as surprised as the Mystery Bus group!”
