The inspiration behind this hilarious team building program is the one and only Rube Goldberg. Goldberg was a true original – a Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist, he leveraged his engineering background to dream up wacky, delightfully overcomplicated machines. His unique vision helped create one of our favorite events for unleashing creativity and team collaboration.
Domino Effect is filled with hands-on activities designed to get teams thinking outside the box. We designed it to emphasize resourcefulness, creativity and solutions-focused problem solving. Success requires clear communication, logical troubleshooting and the ability to think way outside the box.
This flexible team building exercise works really well as one component of a facilitated team development program using tools such as Belbin, Myers Briggs, and DiSC. A popular choice year after year, and for good reason.
*We also offer Chain Reaction, a collaborative version where each team is responsible for designing, assembling and decorating their portion of a single large contraption.

This hands-on team building program works best in a large indoor venue with plenty of open space – your offices, a conference room or ballroom are all great choices. 20 sq. ft. per participant is a good rule of thumb.
