Sustainable team building to create a well-grounded team!
Compost Heroes is a playful, hands-on sustainability team building activity where collaboration meets environmental impact. Led by a dynamic facilitator, participants rotate through five exciting challenge stations—Build, Create, Learn, Play, and Perform—each designed to spark friendly competition, imaginative thinking, and eco-conscious teamwork.
Teams assemble functional compost tumblers during a composting workshop, stitch adorable plush Compost Hero characters, test their green knowledge through interactive trivia, and battle it out in a fast-paced custom card game. At the end, they’ll showcase what they’ve learned with the entire group (bragging rights included!).
Here’s where it gets even better: every item created—compost tumblers, educational signage, card games, and plush characters—is donated to a local youth camp, along with a membership to Green Camps, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping camps lead the way in sustainability. These contributions support waste reduction, environmental education, and long-term sustainable practices in the community.
