Mother Teresa was recognized globally and won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 for her efforts. She was an internationally recognized figure with her efforts stretching from Asia to Europe. She worked with the Red Cross and many other organizations during natural disasters and wartime. Mother Teresa won numerous awards all over the world and is still noteworthy today.

She believed in helping people. She knew that the world needed to work together in order to solve international problems. Since Mother Teresa could not do what she believed alone, she worked with a team and traveled across the world with many others to help those in need.
