Create comfort kits for those in need
When people face disasters, displacement, or other difficult circumstances, basic comforts can make an immediate difference. Wellness Care Kits give individuals experiencing hardship practical essentials along with thoughtful reminders that they are supported and cared for.
In this hands-on volunteer experience, participants will learn about disaster response and recovery before designing a personalized pillowcase and transforming a deck of playing cards into a unique set of affirmation cards. Volunteers will then pack essential care and resilience items into a drawstring bag to create a complete wellness kit.
Each kit combines practical support, creativity, and compassion to provide comfort during challenging times. From a personalized pillowcase to words of encouragement, every item helps bring a sense of care and stability when it’s needed most.
