Paracord Bracelet Kit
During this volunteer activity, you will create a compact disaster-response tool: a paracord bracelet. Each bracelet contains 8–10 feet of durable cord (holding up to 550 pounds) and can be unraveled for emergency use. Alongside each bracelet, you’ll write a heartfelt message of encouragement for individuals and families rebuilding after natural disasters.

Every paracord bracelet you make has a purpose beyond the craft. Made from strong, versatile cord originally developed for military use, paracord can be used in emergency situations for everything from securing gear and creating temporary shelters to making repairs and assisting with rescue efforts.
The bracelets you create will be donated to organizations supporting military personnel, first responders, and emergency workers. Your team’s efforts provide a practical resource they can carry with them, along with a meaningful reminder that their service and sacrifice are appreciated.
