Help hospitalized children feel brave
Every child deserves to feel like a hero, especially during challenging times. Millions of children in the U.S. experience hospitalization each year, often spending extended time away from home and their familiar routines. A superhero cape and mask can offer a welcome escape that sparks imagination, builds confidence, and helps kids feel empowered.
In this hands-on volunteer experience, participants will design and decorate vibrant superhero capes and masks, create personalized cards filled with uplifting messages, and add an activity book to encourage creativity and engagement. Volunteers will then package their completed kits and prepare them for shipping.
Each one-of-a-kind superhero kit is more than a creative gift. It’s a reminder to a child that they are strong, capable, and never alone, giving them a little extra courage and joy when they need it most.
