The history of the food truck dates back centuries – back to a time when humans hadn’t yet invented motorized transport. But that didn’t stop us from falling in love with the idea of fun, portable food. Today, the food truck has taken on a starring role in the American street food revolution. So naturally, we wanted to tap into this momentum to help build stronger teams.

In this engaging team building activity, your group gets to prepare a wide range of delectable food truck fare. But as any mobile chef knows, there’s more to the food truck game than just food. So each team will also be creating their own food truck façade, complete with brand name and logo.

If you know TeamBonding at all, you realize we’re always looking for smart ways to add an element of friendly competition to our events. This one’s no exception – teams will be judged on taste and presentation, but also on the creative spark behind their name, logo and truck decoration. This provides plenty of opportunities for participants to get involved, from cutting, slicing and dicing to branding and marketing. Yum.

This event works well either indoors or out. You’ll want plenty of open space – ideally, around 100 sq ft per team. We’ll also need tables for ingredient set up and other activity stations.
