Paws For A Cause

Help Local Pets in Your Community

In this fun ‘Pet-An-Thropic’ program, teams will be challenged to work together and participate in games and trivia. While the team bonding is taking place you will also be supporting local animal shelters. What better way to mix fun and philanthropy?!

Paws for a Cause

There will be plenty of fun, hard work and creative challenges in this program with a twist.

Millions of animals end up in one of over 5,000 shelters, nationwide, each year. Many of these facilities need help with caring for our beloved family members before they are adopted. Your team can help these animals in this one-of-a-kind team building event, which supports a local animal shelter with much needed supplies. The Paws For A Cause program combines team building, com-PET-ition, and most of all teamwork. Teams will work together to gather supplies to make a dog bed, pull toy and cat scratch pad or pet gift basket for donation. It’s not every day that you have the opportunity to take part in a unique team building event, especially one in which you are supporting the canines and felines at your local animal shelter.

Through a combination of pet-themed team building activities, trivia, and word challenges, teams will earn points-points that allow them to come up to the “Pet Store” and obtain supplies, which are used to create the items being donated. In the end, points will be tallied and a winning team will be decided, but the real winners are the animals you will all be helping.

Your company can help by choosing Pause for a Cause, a fun team-building workshop that benefits local animal shelters by donating needed supplies.

Group size

15-100+. The larger the group, the more gifts can be made, so there is never a size too large.

Time needed

Approximately 2 hours, but can vary slightly depending on group size.

Space requirements

The space needed is dependent on group size. Each team of 6 – 8 will require their own team tables and chairs.  No matter what, this event can be done both inside and out.

We had so much fun making the doggie beds, chew toy and scratch pad and the one minute commercials were the best.  It made our team closer and we appreciate it.  We haven’t laughed so much and had so much fun in a while as everyone has been so busy, so this was just the medicine we needed.

The event was a complete success.  Everyone LOVED the event and others at the company were asking for the information so that they too can do a charity event.   And THANK YOU to Matt, Jennifer, Kristine and Lisa…they were absolutely wonderful.  They totally made the event fun and we learned a lot about the Humane Society.  Everyone is still talking about it today!”

“The event went very well and, I believe, everyone really enjoyed themselves.  Larry was very flexible in meeting our needs as I am sure it was not an easy task to fit the event into a 1 hour timeframe.  Brandon and Diane were both also excellent.  I would not hesitate using Teambonding again.”
