Hands down — the people. Every event feels like stepping into a brand-new adventure with a group of strangers who somehow leave acting like old friends. I love being the bridge between awkward introductions and high-fives of triumph. Plus, there’s something incredible about knowing your “work day” can involve foam noodles, Nerf balls, and life-changing teamwork all in the same hour.
It’s a tie between Build-a-Boat and the Charity Guitar Build. I love Build-a-Boat because there’s nothing like watching people in business attire realize they’re about to test their homemade cardboard creations on actual water — that’s pure team spirit and chaos at its finest.
And the Charity Guitar Build hits me personally — I’ve always believed in the power of music and the arts to connect people. Seeing teams build something that will eventually inspire someone else to play, perform, or just feel joy — that’s pretty special.
Definitely Genie from Aladdin. He’s fun, fast, and full of energy — the ultimate hype man with a heart of gold. Plus, he’s the master of turning “impossible” into “no problem,” which is basically what we do at every TeamBonding event.
I’ll never forget going to Spain to facilitate Corporate Feud with a mix of cultures. Some participants had never even seen the game before, but by the final rounds, a team that had been struggling suddenly clicked — communicating, cheering each other on, and completely in sync. The laughter, surprises, and shared triumph created an energy in the room that was electric. That kind of “aha” moment, where teamwork really clicks across languages and backgrounds, is what I’ll remember for a long, long time — and why I love this job.
- My ukulele — because if I’m stranded, I’m at least going to have good beach vibes.
- Peanut butter — nature’s perfect survival snack.
- A TeamBonding thumb ball — because even on a deserted island, I’d somehow end up running an icebreaker with seagulls.
“Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen. It’s upbeat, a little chaotic, and absolutely unstoppable — just like our events when everyone’s in the zone.
Egypt — and it’s actually happening soon! My wife and I love exploring places rich with history, adventure, and amazing street food. Give us pyramids to climb, markets to wander, local dishes to taste, and people to meet and learn from — that’s the kind of experience that makes travel unforgettable.
