A little history of the circus:Fun Team Building Exercises - Circus Tent

  • The first modern circus was staged on Jan 9, 1768 in London
  • In 1792, John Bill Ricketts opened the first American circus in Philadelphia, followed by New York City & Boston
  • In 1884, five Ringling brothers staged their first circus and soon after bought out Barnum & Bailey in 1907

So after our history review, we couldn’t help but think – The Circus is a centuries-old, tried-and-true tradition, and therefore would make an awesome team building event.

LIGHTBULB!Fun Team Building Exercises - I have an idea!

After working through some of the logistics and putting together a detailed event plan, TeamBonding has officially given birth to an event likely to make Cirque de Soleil jealous – Cirque de Team.

Fun Team Building Exercises: Cirque de Team

The “Cirque de Team” event is a circus-inspired team building program that requires a group of creative, daring and fun-loving individuals to join forces and tackle the tightrope.

Behind the trapeze artists, acrobats, ring leaders and lion tamers is a powerful force of teamwork joining them together to produce a spectacular event. Anyone who has ever been to a Ringling Bros. Circus event can muster just how much team bonding is involved in one show.

The same force can be developed to bring accountants, managers, CEOs, etc. together to build an incredible team at the office.Fun Team Building Exercises

In fact, TeamBonding believes that the equation to success is simple.

Fun + Interactive = A happier, healthier team

Backed by dedicated event managers and resilient facilitators, Cirque de Team is a sure fire way to have teams come together, compete against one another, and have a blast. With events such as, tight rope walking, pie throwing, trapeze swinging, and stilt walking, Cirque de Team provides entertainment and team building for all.
