Employee Engagement Ideas & Tools That Work

About 70% of your employees hate their job. So, whether you call it internal communications or employee engagement, either way, you can improve!

Employee engagement is the: “Emotional connection an employee feels toward his or her employment organization, which tends to influence his or her behaviors and level of effort in work related activities. The more engagement an employee has with his or her company, the more effort they put forth.”

Engagement = Effort

Fostering employee engagement is easier said than done most of the time. It can be a challenge to connect with employees who are already disengaged at work. The first step is checking in. According to our recent employee engagement survey, communication also plays an important role in keeping your team engaged. There are some great employee engagement ideas, games and tools out there that can get you started.

With this tool, employees will answer one question per week that will assess their moods and how they feel about the company culture and take easy, “short and sweet” surveys. The great thing about this tool is that the surveys take less than 5 minutes per month. Time is something we never have enough of so, this is a great option for that reason!

Improving employee engagement should be a top goal so, try one or all of these tools. The more engagement the better!
