Watching the moment a group goes from polite participation to genuine connection. There’s a spark that happens: laughter gets real, walls soften, and suddenly people aren’t just coworkers anymore… they’re a team.

The Charity Bike Build. There’s something powerful about watching adults rediscover play while also creating something that will genuinely impact a child’s life. The moment they realize the bikes are going to real kids (not just a workshop outcome), that’s where teamwork meets heart.

Ted Lasso.  No question. His optimism, curiosity, and gentle accountability are practically a masterclass in psychological safety – with bonus dad jokes and occasional dance moves. Plus, he’d absolutely give the pep talk no one knew they needed.

A huge event where the group started out a little skeptical and quiet. By the end, they were cheering, celebrating each other, and laughing so loudly you could feel the energy through the walls. Watching people shift from “we’re required to do this” to “we’re glad we did this” is pretty unforgettable.

A massive picnic basket of amazing food (because optimism requires calories), a photo album full of people and places that shaped me, and a pen – because even on a deserted island, I’d probably still be reflecting, planning, or scribbling new ideas.

Defying Gravity” from Wicked. It’s bold, hopeful, and reminds us that teams can do incredible things once they trust each other – and themselves.

Morocco. The souks, the colors, the tiles, the spices, the pastillas…. It feels like one of those rare places where cultures meet, overlap, and tell stories through food, architecture, and sound. I’ve been lucky enough to travel quite a bit, but Morocco feels like the next chapter waiting to be explored.
