Casey Rector

CSR Impact Manager

In this series of articles, we take five minutes to chat with a member of the  TeamBonding team so you can get an idea of the sort of people we are. In this installment, we talked to CSR Impact Manager Casey Rector to learn about her dream vacation, what famous people she would invite to dinner, and more!

What is your favorite part of working for TeamBonding?
I LOVE working at TeamBonding – It is the only job I’ve had where my creative and collaborative skills are valued just as much as my organizational, strategic, and logic-based skills. The team lunches, monthly team building events, fun atmosphere, and constant reminders that we are valued as employees are icing on the cake.

If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be?
I’d love to be Anthony Bourdain’s sidekick in Parts Unknown.

If you could take only three items with you on a deserted island, what would they be?
I would bring a handful of different seedlings, a vessel for water, and a notebook to write my memoir.

If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would you go?
I’d love to tour Africa from top to bottom.

What is your favorite food? (If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?)
I love cherries

What is the name of your favorite restaurant? Where is it located?
Bacaro in Providence.

If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
I know it’s cheesy, but I would love to be able to fly. The new perspective, views, and fast travel speeds are very appealing!

If you could time travel, would you go to the past or the future?
I’m really curious if department stores will take over and small businesses will become obsolete, so I’d love to skip forward to see. I’d also love to know how much money I’ll need for retirement so I can either start spending it all, or buckle down a save up.

What is your favorite four-legged creature and why?
Pandas, because they are just so irresistibly adorable.
