Build-It-Yourself Corporate Volunteering Kits

Corporate Volunteering Made Easy

Sometimes you don’t need event management or a facilitator.

Would you like to create your own one-of-a-kind event? TeamBondingCSR can help there, too. The process is super easy – simply select your team activity, then choose a nonprofit you’d like to support. We can ship your all-inclusive donation kits to a single location. Or if you’re planning a virtual event, we’ll send your corporate volunteering kits out separately to individual team members.

Our Build-It-Yourself Volunteer Kits provide you with everything you need to confidently run an engaging team building volunteer event. We also coordinate any and all logistics with your designated nonprofit. As with most things in life, success isn’t a matter of luck – it’s all about the planning.

Our CSR Team Building Kits

Our unique volunteer events offer 60+ minutes of hands-on virtual, hybrid or in person volunteering for your team. Each event has been created hand-in-hand with our nonprofit partners to empower your team.

Military Care Kit

Teams begin by learning about TeamBondingCSR’s non-profit partner: Operation Gratitude, their impact and mission with a team building trivia style game show. Each participant prior to the event will receive a Build-It-Yourself Volunteer Kit and will be guided by a facilitator to create 3 paracord bracelets and write short letters of gratitude and inspiration for active military service members. Volunteers will then be led in safety checking their bracelets and finally taking the essential items, their built paracords, and handwritten letters and packing them into a care kit. Each kit will include a pre-paid label and mailer for direct donation to Operation Gratitude.

Impact Area

A paracord bracelet is a lifesaving tool that can be used to help build a makeshift shelter, make a sling or splint, create a harness, extract an injured person, and so much more. TeamBondingCSR has worked with companies to donate over 120,000 paracord bracelets and care packages to military personnel. In partnership with Operation Gratitude, the kit you build during our volunteer event will be given directly to active military overseas.

Impact Area

At TeamBonding we believe that where you’re from or the circumstances that surround you should not determine your access to experiences or opportunities. Right now, millions of students here in the U.S. are lacking the connectivity, technology and skills required for success in today’s digital economy. This is why we have developed these programs with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America who aim to enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. 97% of Boys & Girls Clubs teens expect to graduate from high school and 88% expect to complete some kind of post-secondary education. Mindfulness Kit Assembly

What is Mindfulness? It is being aware of the present moment without judgement. Mindfulness is the practice of noticing when our mind is not in the present moment choosing to bring it back to the here and now. In this uniquely created experience, volunteers are able to come together to benefit our nonprofit partner Calmer Choice as well as gain tools and practices to apply to their own workplace habits.

Volunteers will begin the event by learning about our global volunteer partner: Calmer Choice, their impact and mission. Each participant will receive a Build-It-Yourself kit and will be guided by a facilitator to craft a mindfulness & stress relief kit. They will have a blast building items included in the kit: a stress ball, breathing sticks, a glitter jar, and various other mindfulness activities. After completing each activity volunteers will learn how the item is utilized within the practice of mindfulness. This event is a stress reliever for not only the end recipient, but the volunteer as well!

Benefits of Mindfulness in the Workplace:

There have been numerous studies done that illuminate the benefits of mindfulness in the workplace. However, perhaps the most important reason that companies such as Google are investing in it is its ability to directly improve performance.

Reduces stress and anxiety, improves work focus, enhances creativity, increases emotional intelligence and resilience, improves communication, mindfulness & ROI.

Impact Area

While mental health conditions affect 1 in 4 people worldwide, its impact extends to everyone directly or indirectly through family, friends, or coworkers. With the continued and jarring effect of COVID-19, raising awareness and mobilizing efforts for more significant mental health resources is even more critical going into a new year. Calmer Choice delivers an in-school, low-cost, preventative effort that equips children with mindfulness kits and a suite of skills to learn self-control, increase inner resilience, reduce the impact of stress, manage emotional responses better, and increase their sense of well-being.

Sketch It Forward

Teams begin by learning about TeamBondingCSR’s nonprofit partner: Find Your Anchor, their impact and mission with a team building trivia style game show. Each participant prior to the event will receive a Build-It-Yourself volunteer kit and will be guided by a facilitator to experience the world of augmented reality. Volunteers will download an application on their mobile devices that projects an image onto our custom designed cards. This allows the volunteer to create a jaw dropping inspiring image on their card. They will then write a letter on the back that will instill hope in the recipient.

Impact Area

TeamBondingCSR has partnered with Find Your Anchor for your cards to be placed inside a FYA signature suicide prevention box. Is suicide really a serious problem in our country? Yes. There are an estimated 48,000 suicides per year and 1,424,125 attempts. That is too many. We believe that there is help, there is hope and there is an alternative. We don’t claim to have all the answers, knowing that it is unique for each person, but Find Your Anchor is one small piece in a sea of positive and safe alternatives. Although there’s no guaranteed means of prevention, we know that support is crucial, connection matters and that the more help and resources the better. Each person needs an anchor. Some statistics:

Globally, there is one suicide about every 40 seconds.

In the U.S., there is a suicide every 13.7 minutes.

Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death for Americans.

Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for Americans age 15-24. 4

Males die by suicide four times as often as females, but there are three female attempts for every male attempt.
