The American Dream Is Based On A Team

“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”- Henry Ford

This week’s team building quote comes from a man who revolutionized American industry and laid the foundation for many operating practices of today: Henry Ford. Ford’s innovative thinking gave way to mass production and mass consumption where workers could purchase the product they were making, which began the development of the American Dream.

Ford achieved success by upgrading traditional industrial methods and creating the assembly line, allowing individuals to contribute their personal skills to the greater goal of the company. With everyone completing their assigned task and working as a team, production increased by eight to one.

Ford believed that everyone working together was better than one person working alone.

Like the process Ford used with his company, the TeamBonding process is a model for success and creates authentic corporate bonds between team members. We help you select the right program for your team and participate in one of our many events. We get your company started by bringing together each individual’s strengths while you work together to produce success in the long run.

One individual alone cannot run a successful company. Doesn’t it make sense to combine everyone’s ideas and skills in order to create the best product possible? Whether your product is tangible or not, a profitable business is built on a cohesive team.

Henry Ford’s assembly line involved workers having responsibility for a specific task; which contributed to the height of consumerism. However,  your company’s drive to work together and succeed leads to  immeasurable possibilities of your accomplishments. Only you can produce to your greatest potential, and your greatest potential comes from challenging one another and building a team.

What are some ways in which you use other team member’s expertise on your own work?

We would love to hear your stories on how you work together! Check back for a new team building quote each week and let us know which ones motivate you.
