TeamBonding Gives Back

Last Week TeamBonding Celebrated Giving Tuesday in a Big Way!

David and Wendy Goldstein, the owners of TeamBonding, decided to encourage donations by matching every staff member’s individual donation. As a result of David and Wendy’s generosity, and the generosity of our incredible team, we were able to raise $2,000 for a variety of charities. It was a heartwarming display of kindness and collaboration from the TeamBonding crew and their leaders. Our team explains why they gave to their chosen charities below.

“My grandfather currently struggles with Parkinson’s. It’s such a nasty, degenerative disease and I find it so hard to see a man who has been a giant and a role model to me for as long as I can remember struggling to accomplish the most basic of daily living skills.  And as a Marty McFly and Back to the Future enthusiast, I jump at any opportunity to support Michael J. Fox…”

Dustin Reason, Client Solutions Manager

The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research

“My donation in honor of Lou Cooper went to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Your donation funds lifesaving research and services that provide hope, help, and healing to patients and their families. In fact, donations from you and other LLS supporters are responsible for the first new treatment for acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in more than 40 years!”

David Goldstein, Owner & Founder

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

“Dana Farber is a charity personal to me as we have lost a few family members to cancer and my sister-in-law is running her second Boston Marathon in honor of her Dad (my father-in-law) whom a few years ago had cancer. As a marathon runner myself, I understand how hard Boston charity runners work to raise a required minimum of $8000 in order to secure a spot in the race.”

Linda Solomon, Accounting Assistant

Dana Farber

“I was introduced to The Home for Little Wanderers when I was just a student in college. I signed up to volunteer at their Roxbury House during a clean out and renovation, and it was amazing to see firsthand how much they do for children in challenging transitions. I am so happy to be able to give back to this very worthy organization again!”

Shannon Lane Dupont, Director of Program Development

The Home for Little Wanderers

“I donated to the American Heart Society as my husband had heart surgery as a baby (only 9 months-old). Without this procedure, he would not be here today and I am eternally grateful. Additionally, heart disease continues to be a leading cause of death. Organizations like this are key to improving the lives of many. I also made a contribution to Wreaths Across America in honor of the men and women who served and are serving our country today. Without the sacrifice of these heroic men and women, my family would not have access to the many freedoms that we do today.”

Kara Trombly, Sr. Client Relations Manager

American Heart Society

“I chose to donate to Marisa’s Mission because I have seen many families who’ve struggled to financially stay afloat when a family member is diagnosed with cancer. It’s an organization that takes away the stress of finances and allows the family to focus on being there for each other. I donated in honor of my aunt who passed away from brain cancer in June of this year.”

Jenna Gould, Client Solutions Manager

Marisa’s Mission

“Every child deserves the experience of celebrating their special day. Birthday Wishes delivers birthday parties to children living in homeless shelters – what a wonderful act of kindness!”

Julie Fireman, Account Manager

Birthday Wishes

“This charity is one that one of our clients chose. They have terminally ill children stay with them for one week and during that week they do all the holidays – Christmas, Halloween, Easter, etc. The rep that came out had 400 people crying!”

Stephanie Avery, Sr. Corporate Event Manager

Give Kids the World

“I chose the Tunnel to Towers Fallen First Responder Program, in honor of Weymouth Police Sgt. Michael Chesna who was tragically killed in the line of duty. My husband is a police officer, and as a daughter of a firefighter, my heart goes out to all first responders and their families.”

Holly Cruise, Purchasing Coordinator

Tunnel to Towers Fallen First Responder Program

“Pine Manor College is a private four-year liberal arts college situated on over 45 wooded acres in the Chestnut Hill section of Brookline, Massachusetts, only a few miles outside of Boston. For over 100 years, Pine Manor College has provided a student-focused education and tailored mentoring grounded in the liberal arts tradition.  I am a graduate of the class of 1989.”

Lori Brightman, Sales Coordinator

Pine Manor College
