I love this job, I could do it forever! What the role of Lead Facilitator entails feels like a perfect match for my skill set-how cool is that? My favorite part is reading the group and figuring out what they need to have the best experience and creating that atmosphere and opportunity for them.

Since moving to Europe, I am doing mostly virtual events, which has been such a lovely surprise to me. I had no idea you could take the same feelings and experience of an in-person event and translate it to an online setting. In this age where working from home is normal I love facilitating virtual events-they really do spark joy and are such an accessible and easy way to team build with folks in different time zones at the same time. I love the Impact Online event-it is a perfect blend of laughter, riddles, and problem solving while actually passively learning a whole lot and giving back to the community. It is a perfect, unique cocktail mix of what teambuilding can be!

I love The Muppets. For me they are the epitome of humor so I would love Kermit the Frog on my team. We are in the team experience business and Kermit knows how to work with big groups since he organizes all of the Muppet Shows. He knows how to get stuff done while also being a team player and not taking things too seriously. We could make up songs together and hang out with Animal, Miss Piggy, and Fozzy after work.

For me the pivot to virtual events is very memorable. All of a sudden we were able to work with groups from all over the world. As someone who grew up in an immigrant family and who now lives as an Ex-Pat in a foreign country, I really feel that my heart is with international groups and it is incredible to me that this is possible. I love a good online Almost Anything Goes Trivia event where we have to make sure the questions make sense for a diverse group of players. The fun and the competition are universal!

I would go for one practical item—a knife. I am clumsy so I would have to be careful but this seems like a good item to have.

One frivolous item—my pillow (I always sleep best on my own pillow). I will bring it whenever and wherever possible. Don’t underestimate the power of a good sleep.

One delicious item—an avocado. I grew up in California and a perfect avocado is a treasure. I would eat it and then plant the seed. I am just realizing it might take a while to grow but I suppose I would have a lot of time and can cultivate patience as well.

Lovely Day by Bill Withers. It creates such a good vibe!

When I went to Asia for the first time I felt like my world was opened up because of the unique cultural experiences so different from what I know. At the top of my list is currently Japan as I have not been there yet. I would love to eat real Japanese sushi and since I worked for Disney for 10 years I would love to go to Tokyo Disney and Disney Sea. I hear they are the most magical of all of the Disney Parks and Resorts around the world.
