Who We’re Looking For:
We seek an energetic, self‑motivated marketer to lead the marketing team, alongside our Fractional CMO, while the Director is on leave. You’ll bring the expertise of a full‑stack marketer, with experience in digital strategy, website optimization, SEO, and email marketing. You’ll also oversee a small but mighty team across content, design, and social, ensuring campaigns and projects stay on track, refining strategy, and making data‑driven decisions that drive measurable growth. With a strong foundation in best practices and a creative mindset, your ability to think critically and innovatively and your resourcefulness will help foster collaboration, drive impactful campaigns, and effectively manage the marketing team to achieve TeamBonding’s goals.
You should be savvy and solutions-oriented, with the ability to spot errors, troubleshoot issues, and make informed, data-driven decisions that keep campaigns and operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the CEO, Fractional CMO, internal marketing team, podcast team, sales team, PR agency, and any external marketing consultants.
- Lead and guide the marketing team, ensuring alignment with business objectives, keeping the team informed on new programs and initiatives, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Provide creative direction and strategy across all marketing campaigns, including the Team Building Podcast, trade shows, program launches, press initiatives, advertising, video content, and new marketing initiatives.
- Develop and execute quarterly campaigns that align with seasonal business needs, driving lead generation and customer engagement.
- Oversee the SEO strategy and execution, ensuring the optimization of new program pages while managing the team responsible for SEO implementation. Ensure adherence to best practices, ongoing optimization, and alignment with brand guidelines and goals.
- Monitor all marketing accounts and oversee all website changes and additions, troubleshooting, and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on program launches and new initiatives by following best practices, writing copy, and publishing necessary website pages.
- Ensure all marketing efforts align with TeamBonding’s brand voice and core messaging, and maintain consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
- Manage all email marketing campaigns in HubSpot, including editing nurturing emails, automations where needed, and creating monthly newsletters with design and copywriting.
- Collaborate with Salesforce and HubSpot consultants while overseeing a dedicated team to resolve CRM integration challenges, improve data workflows, and implement strategies for automation and long-term optimization.
- Leverage data from Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, and integrated tools like Hotjar to uncover insights, drive informed decisions, and enhance marketing performance.
- Direct the graphic designer in creating and coordinating all print and digital materials, ensuring alignment with seasonal campaigns and overall marketing initiatives.
- Lead the podcast team, providing guidance and support in securing guests and ensuring smooth execution of podcast content for episode launches on both the podcast platform Podbean and website.
- Coordinate with the sales team on trade show strategy, providing marketing materials, branding assets, and online collateral to support booth design and promoting the TeamBonding brand. Craft follow-up emails for attendees and hot leads.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on the launch of the redesigned website, offering direction, feedback, and support on messaging, layout, and functionality, while leading launch campaigns and promotional efforts.
- Oversee the marketing team’s content strategy, ensuring blog content, LinkedIn newsletters, and other written materials uphold TeamBonding’s brand voice and align with seasonal campaigns, brand goals, and messaging.
- Stay actively aware of competitors across all areas of marketing, continuously researching industry trends and competitor strategies to ensure the company remains competitive.
- Maintain established best practices for asset management, including media storage, content organization, web page edits, and uploads, while ensuring everything is properly tracked and accessible to the team.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 8+ years of marketing experience, with a strong background in email marketing (HubSpot), content management, social media, and working knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Proven experience leading diverse marketing teams across multiple disciplines, ensuring alignment with brand goals and business objectives, while mentoring, motivating, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices, lead generation strategies, content optimization, and analytics.
- Experience managing front-end website operations in WordPress, including publishing and maintaining content.
- Proficiency with marketing tools such as HubSpot (or similar CRM, but HubSpot experience strongly preferred), Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Podbean, and social media scheduling platforms.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and ensure successful completion of initiatives.
- Ability to leverage both analytical and creative thinking to interpret data, generate insights, and guide strategy.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on maintaining brand consistency across all channels.

Position Type:
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, remote position.
Given that our headquarters are located in Stoughton, MA, (Greater Boston) this role is preferably based in Massachusetts. However, we are open to qualified candidates residing in Florida, Chicago, Connecticut, Ohio, Tennessee, and Virginia. The ideal candidate should also be open to coming in to meet the team or participate in occasional team building events.
