Be careful – this song will get stuck in your head. It’s a real pick me up song, and so catchy! But we love this track because of the message – it reminds us to stay optimistic when things aren’t going our way.

A one-hit-wonder in its finest, “Better Days” was the most popular song by Citizen King in the late 1990s. We like it because of its clever lyrics and the catchy instrumentals. The lyrics list a series of unfortunate events only to be followed at the end of each segment by “I ain’t got much to lose”. It reminds us that no matter how bad things get or how down you might be, there’s always going to be someone who has it worse – and there’s always going to be a way to make it better. One of the best ways to improve your outlook when life gets you down is with music, and this is why we love “Better Days”! Listen to this pick me up song and remember that there’s always a solution to everything.
