Mike Krzyzewski, or more commonly known as Coach K, knows how to bring his players together and bring out the best in them. Coach K is the most winningest coach in NCAA Division I men’s basketball history and has led the Duke University Blue Devils to four NCAA National Championships. He coached the Blue Devils for over thirty years and is known by his players and fans as more than a leader, but as their family. He knows how to cultivate true team inspiration.

Coach K is one of the most respected basketball figures in history and has turned down numerous offers to coach in the NBA. Krzyzewski was appointed coach of the United States men’s national basketball team in 2005. He led the team to their last two gold medals in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. He has won numerous awards including “America’s Best Coach” by Time magazine and “Sportsman of the Year” by Sports Illustrated.

In basketball, selflessness is a must in order to succeed. Coach K has coached his players to do what is best for the team rather than the individual. He has credited his many achievements to understanding himself and his players. With his ability to relate to his players while teaching them the values of the game, there is no limit to his success in the future.
