Having worked repeatedly for such diverse clients as Deloitte, Verizon, Glaxo Smith Kline, PWC, ESPN, Direct TV, Game Show Network, and more. Paul will provide the right mix of Energy, Fun, Organization, Comedy, and did we say ENERGY no matter what style your program needs. Taking your program beyond your expectations is Paul’s full-time passion, and he possesses an uncanny knack for versatility and an ability to adapt to any crowd or situation.

On Moving Forward: So we’re going to have to find a way to, to be inclusive of them as part of the event. So. Whether that’s still using some type of video with a feed to what’s going on, live in the room, or somehow connecting them to a Team where they can help him, any of the pieces, you know, even if it’s a live bike build, just because you can’t put your hand on your bike for the team, because you’re not in the room, doesn’t mean you can’t be a part of the marketing or a part of a trivia or, you know, some piece of the team. – Paul Giroux

Sam Goldstein: leads the sales team at TeamBonding and loves partnering with clients around the world to create and produce high-energy, engaging, unique, fun, and goal-oriented events. She thrives on customized, out-of-the-box requests. Sam loves Escape Rooms and is working towards her goal to do one in every state! You can find her around town trying new restaurants, testing out new low-carb baking recipes, and hanging out with her three-year-old French Bulldog, Tilly.

On Development: So, I think a lot of, a lot of our program development comes from the specific requests, you know, client that says we have a global team and we really want to do something like an amazing race. What can we do? And we have a custom wine coming up tomorrow. Um, that Kevin’s leading that, uh, they’re doing different rounds of trivia that are based in different parts of the world as they travel through different legs. And they’re going to come back for pit stops and there’s your turns and roadblocks and everything under the sun. So, a lot of it comes from that. – Samantha Goldstein

Since summer 2020 she has pitched in and helped with adapting programs from in-person to virtual and finding engaging ways to lead programs. She has been in the industry for 17 years, and with TeamBonding for 2.5 years!

Company Engagement: And that was a connection point for them. It’s one more thing to create connection around. And again, it’s just helps set the tone of the room, just like you wouldn’t when you walk into a party, can you imagine walking to a party with no music and you’re drinking your drink and it’s just silent. Like that’s what they experience when they come in. –Debbie Brunet

He has worked with industry giants in such fields as technology, credit cards, pharmaceuticals, TV networks, professional services firms, world banks, and international retailers. As events pivoted to online platforms, Kevin has hosted over 400 virtual experiences for participants and audiences all over the world.

On Facilitation: So, we get to have a lot of fun directly and. Every time that there’s say a repeat, repeat client and especially repeat attendees. I almost immediately recognize their face. I’m like, Oh, like it’s been, it’s been three months. It’s so awesome to see you again. And we start to develop that deeper connection, not just within their own team, but with us in them. – Kevin Pertusiello

When we speak up, we learn how much we have in common with others.

Creating a safe workplace where employees, especially women, feel comfortable speaking up is essential for today’s work environment.

Listen as our guest, Angela Lussier founder of the Speaker Sisterhood, talks about the importance of women finding their voices to speak up. Speak up culture is being present, authentic, and showing up for yourself, your team, or a mission or a goal. And when I say showing up. Angela believes in encouraging others to speak up and that saying the things that matter to you is a better direction than being a passive listener and hoping things will change.

Angela Lussier is an award-winning speaker, seven-time author, two-time TEDx presenter, and CEO and founder of the Speaker Sisterhood, the number one resource for public speaking training for women. Angela is the host of Claim the Stage, rated #1 on the inspiring podcasts list by Forbes in 2017. Her work has been featured on ABC, NBC, Forbes, Virgin, and Entrepreneur. She lives in Holyoke, Massachusetts with her toddler-aged son and very energetic cat.
Her motto: Stop waiting. Start creating.

In this podcast episode, Rich speaks to the team of Calmer Choice, Fiona Jensen and Paula Reardon Webster. Listen to how adults, as well as children, can benefit from having a mindfulness practice. Science has proven that those who practice mindfulness see greater stress resilience, enhanced productivity, and a better work-life balance.

Fiona Jensen, OTR/L is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Calmer Choice, a non-profit organization that provides mindfulness-based prevention programs to students and community members throughout Barnstable and Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Fiona started Calmer Choice in 2009, in response to the emotional devastation experienced by the community after the tragic death of several Barnstable High School students and graduates. To date, Calmer Choice has reached over 35,000 students in 9 different school districts both on and off Cape Cod. Beyond its work with children and adolescents, Calmer Choice provides programming for parents, educators, and community members. It has collaborated with researchers at Tufts, Yale, and MIT to establish precedents for the impact of mindfulness on overall health, wellbeing, and academic performance of its participants. For the last 2 years, Calmer Choice was awarded $50,000 from the Baker administration for programming on Cape Cod, recognized as a prevention program in elementary schools.

A graduate of Tufts University, Fiona is a tireless advocate for children and was featured in the April 2013 issue of Mindful Magazine, Cape Cod Life, and various other publications. In 2014, Fiona Jensen received the Courage of Conscience award on behalf of the Peace Abbey, an international humanitarian award presented to the likes of Mother Theresa and Maya Angelou. A quote taken from this award reads “Like other recipients of the Courage of Conscience Award, Fiona took a personal challenge and tragedy and transformed a sense of hopelessness and despair into an organization that would address the issues of violence, suicide, and self-destructive behaviors in young people.” She has been a guest lecturer at Tufts University. She has been invited to present at numerous regional conferences around the country, including a Keynote Speaker at the Bridging Hearts and Minds Conference in San Diego in February 2017.

Paula Reardon-Webster serves on the Calmer Choice Board of Directors and Finance Committee (after 25 years in healthcare finance), as well as teaching Calmer Choice to our adult communities. Paula Reardon-Webster was inspired through her own practice to earn an M.S. in Mindfulness Studies at Lesley University and graduated in the first cohort completing this program in 2016. She has completed a number of other mindfulness instructor training and teaches mindfulness programming in schools, community, and business settings. Paula teaches Taiji & Qigong, and Yin Yoga.

In this episode, Rich speaks with author, speaker, actor, improvist, entrepreneur, traveler, and father Ben Winter. In order to reach common ground in a world full of people with different expectations, there has to be communication. Over the past 18 months, a lot has changed including employees’ and managements’ perspectives on how a business should be run. Listen to how communicating your expectations in the workplace is more important than ever.

Ben Winter certainly hasn’t been idle in life. A couple of years out of college and he started doing things and going places he never would have expected. From traveling to personal growth to marriage and child to divorce and parenthood to entrepreneurialism and inspiring others. Ben has flown an airplane on his own and has been scuba diving in the Galapagos. He has seen the animals of Tanzania and has traveled all over Europe with a 6-month-old child in tow. He has performed improv for over a decade, acted in several plays, and even a movie. He has also owned several businesses.

His biggest passion is exploring the mind. In all of his personal growth work, the one constant was that it all stems from the mind. Between personal growth and improv, he found this weird realm called expectations. And while most people would shy away from such a thing, he decided to tackle it head-on. Along his journey, he decided that “the only reason anyone gets upset is because an expectation hasn’t been met.” And begin teaching that in his Success Improv business.

He noticed that there has to be a way to use that upset feeling to fix the situation. And he created the amazing “How to stop being upset” flow chart.

From there it was a simple step of taking everything that he has explored on the subject and put it in a book called, “What to Expect when Having Expectations.”

Using the different generations’ unique insights will not only strengthen your team but teach them valuable skills no matter their age.

“The people want to be understood. I don’t care what age they are. People want to be understood.” – Mary

Mary Erlain has published 4 books and is a sought-after speaker and facilitator. She works with owners to identify the core of the issues that stand in the way of growth in companies. Two of Erlain’s books focus on generational diversity. Empowering and embracing the Multi-Generational Workforce is a challenge in most organizations. She brings her knowledge and expertise in this area to any of the services she offers. Peak Development Strategies was founded in 2007 by Mary. “Connecting the dots and removing barriers!” truly conveys the company’s mission in helping business owners and their employees.

Mary and her husband, Dave own a small herd of animals. All rescues! They have three Great Pyrenees dogs that she regularly trips over in the house. And if nearly 400 lbs. of dog is not enough, they also have cats, each with their own rescue story. Their three grown children have also filled their lives with rescued animals.
