The Team Building Team
In this series of articles, we take five minutes to chat with a member of the TeamBonding team so you can get an idea of the sort of people we are. In this installment, we talk to one of our facilitators, Larry about his love for teambuilding, dogs, and time travel!
What is your favorite part of working for TeamBonding?
I really enjoy going to new places and meeting so many diverse and interesting people. It’s very rewarding to see them come together, working for a common goal, and having a blast doing it, all at the same time.
If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be?
The Broadway and Film Musical – 1776
If you could take only three items with you on a deserted island, what would they be?
A magnifying glass or mirror to start a fire, a Swiss army knife, and a first aid kit.
What is one food group you can’t live without?
Meat and fish.
If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
I would love to be able to fly like a bird or like Superman. The freedom of flying through the air with the greatest of ease, without fear of falling sounds wonderful to me.
If you could time travel, would you go to the past or the future?
I would very much like to go to the past. Either sometime around the signing of the Declaration of Independence, or the early 1900s.
What is your favorite four-legged creature and why?
Dogs!!! To be fair, I like cats too, but in the last 20 years, I graduated to dogs. Each dog I have rescued and brought into my house is like having a child, a child who never really grows up. Their companionship, friendship and unconditional love help keep me grounded.
If you could invite three famous, historical leaders to dinner, who would you invite and what food would you eat?
Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson. We would feast on peanut soup, roasted leg of lamb,
cabbage with onions, potato balls, and baked apples.
