In this series of articles we take five minutes to chat with a member of the TeamBonding team so you can get an idea of the sort of people we are.
In this installment we chat with Kiku, our outgoing Team Building Facilitator who has had some interesting travel techniques in the past, and absolutely hates when people are down in the dumps. No Oscar the Grouches allowed.
How long have you been working with TeamBonding?
I started working team building events in 2007 in Europe. I began collaborating with TeamBonding in October of 2012.
What got you started in facilitating?
I was first the production and operations manager of a famous team building provider in Spain, and progressively became interested in facilitating events.
What do you do with your spare time?
In my spare time I enjoy mountain biking and sailing (my biggest passion). I also enjoy spending quality time with family and friends as well.
Where is your favorite place in the world to be?
The beach, right in front of my house in Tarragona, Catalunya (Spain). Google it, it’s awesome.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Work hard, play hard….. Oh wait… That’s what I did!
The most annoying thing in the world according to you is:
When I am in a bad mood. Or when someone around me is in a bad mood. Hate it.
What can’t you live without?
My family and friends. (and my Jeep!)
Describe yourself in three words:
Adaptable, optimistic, and enthusiastic.
Do you have a favorite food?
Yes!!!!! Any fish dish my beloved mother will cook for me.
Something people may not know about you:
I speak 4 languages, circumnavigated the Mediterranean Sea, and crossed the Atlantic Ocean in a 50 feet schooner.
The most important thing in life is:
Happiness.
