Enjoy a team building game that forges lasting bonds throughout your company while giving back to the community! We’ll group you into purchasing squads and you’ll gather your team to embark on a Smartphone Scavenger Hunt, identifying stores and products that will help you develop a strategy for purchasing items within a set budget. That’s right! This isn’t just about buying things.
Teams have two sets of challenges that can be performed simultaneously or consecutively. There are two goals in this philanthropic adventure:
Shop for a Cause
Teams will purchase items to be donated to a local food bank or other charity. Each team will have the cash, but only a limited amount of time to return with as many donations from the selected charity’s wish list as possible. Whenever possible, we’ll request that a representative from your beneficiary of choice attend the event to surprise your team and thank them for their efforts.
Team Bonding
Teams must complete the shopping specific challenges and a number of photo missions together. The more photos you take along the way using our proprietary Smartphone App, the more points you will receive! This activity encourages strong corporate citizenship, team accomplishment and a return to play based learning. Of course, great team building events have the most impact when your team is in situations where they want to engage and cooperate with co-workers. That’s exactly why Scaventures are always a rousing success!
It is a competition yes, but everybody wins as your team unites to toward a common goal – social giving. You’ll even have a fun and heartfelt slide show of each team’s antics to commemorate the day and serve as a reminder of the teamwork, communication and cooperation you can bring back to the workplace.
