Our most popular team building programs in New York City

ccsi new yorkCorporate Crime Scene Investigation (CCSI) is a forensic sciences team building activity. Teams take on their own specially designed crime scene investigation, just like the forensic experts do on that popular TV show!

This team building program is a great metaphor for teamwork in the workplace and it encourages observation and critical thinking. Part murder mystery, part board game, and part scavenger hunt, CCSI is a wildly fun event where groups do all the sleuthing and reach conclusions based on teamwork and their powers of deduction.

amazing race dash new work cityAmazing Race Dash is way more than your average scavenger hunt!  Loosely based on The Amazing Race TV show, teams seek out and solve a series of challenges.  It’s a “scaventure” where groups use a smartphone app to download their mission, and then race around snapping photos for points, and participating in treasure hunts.

Amazing Race Dash can be customized to the location of your choice, indoors or outdoors, and it can accommodate very large groups.  It’s tons of fun, and you’ll have lots of photo memories of the event.

Tools for School is a fun, interactive, productive way to bring your team closer, and unite them in a common goal of helping the local community.

Teams fill backpacks with essential school supplies, including notebooks, pencils, erasers, and more, for a well-deserving group of kids.  But it’s not easy!  Teams will have to earn their items by participating in mental and physical challenges that require teamwork and effective communication.

Following one particularly memorable event with Macquarie Holdings – a donation of 26 backpacks to Feel the Warmth – our client told us:

“I just wanted to say thank you for a great event. It was quite entertaining and eye opening to see how many talented people we have in the firm! I wanted to share the feedback from one of the participants saying ‘I’m always a little suspect of team building exercises and the section came off brilliantly.”

A great NYC pit stop!

Fraunces Tavern has been in continuous operation since 1762. It's a great pit stop on a scavenger hunt or pub crawl!

Some of our favorite team building moments in New York City:

Scavenger hunts for MTV and Major League Soccer as they searched for items, tasks, photos and challenges throughout the city.

Indoor Olympics at the Armory on the Hudson, giving management an opportunity to observe their team in an unfamiliar environment.

Cooking programs at lofts and hotels throughout the city where participants can take in the skyline as they bond!

New York City Team Building Tips:

  1. Restaurants in NYC are packed between 8 and 10 pm.  So if you want to take your team to one of the best foodie hot spots, plan to eat early or late. Or, even better, make a reservation!
  2. New York is a big city. Road closures, subway construction and other projects can make it difficult.
