Bikes for Charity

I just got this letter today. Made me feel great.

From Cooperstown Central School
To: The Team Building Company that put together 6 sparkling bikes

Dear Friends,

Cooperstown Central was contacted in Oct./Nov. that a group working on a team building was putting together several bikes for children. Our Chamber of Commerce stepped in to connect the school with these beautiful bicycles. I thought you might want to know where these pieces of hard work went. All 6 bicycles were given to children that ranged from 5 – 8 as part of our Angel Network as Christmas gifts. These bicycles were provided to families who had little means to provide gifts for their children this year. None of the children who ever received bicycles had ever had one of their own (one shared a bike with 5 other siblings) So, your hard work brought so many smiles. As our snow melts away I am starting to hear some of their stories about their adventures of the bike “excursions”. Thank you for your generosity!
