Frequently Asked Questions
Company Overview:
We start with the idea that people need to play more. Fun and learning occur in an informal environment. The programs we design require the use of your mind and body; involving both enhances learning. In today’s competitive environment it is imperative for a successful business to work as a team. By creating that level playing field, which puts the managing director on the same level as the rest of the organization, we help to break down barriers and engender an atmosphere of enthusiasm, cooperation and teamwork. Team building events, theme dinners and corporate events will never, ever be the same.
What Makes Us Different?
Aside from our unique product offerings, our trained facilitators all have a background in the performing arts, along with proven skills in communication and teaching. Our belief is that through this background, the facilitators have a keen sense of their audience which helps to create events that are not only purposeful, but also dynamic and entertaining! A focus interaction is paramount to TeamBonding’s philosophy and as a result, we are proud of our high level of client satisfaction.

1. Where is TeamBonding located? We’re based out of Boston, Chicago, San Francisco and Phoenix, and continue to cultivate a growing list of TeamBonding-trained local facilitators throughout the U.S. and beyond. Cities with an especially strong TeamBonding presence include New York, Orlando, Washington, DC, Atlanta and Toronto. But if your location isn’t on this list, never fear – we’ve created wildly successful events as far away as Sydney and Singapore. Travel is never an issue for us. Please don’t let it be one for you.
2. Who are your facilitators? TeamBonding’s professional facilitators are a special breed. Spreading this much excitement day in and day out requires someone who is intelligent, articulate, contagiously energetic and personable. Each of our experts has the experience and sensitivity to perfectly balance corporate realities with pure, unbridled fun. Each is equipped to keep your comfort level very high while achieving the desired results. This is all accomplished with a level of service and attention to detail which helps explain why so many TeamBonding clients return again and again.
3. What makes TeamBonding events unique? We could devote a whole website to answering just this question. Sure, we’re considered one of the pioneers of the team building industry. But perhaps even more important, we’ve continued to innovate, create and fine tune along the way, firmly establishing ourselves as today’s preeminent workplace motivation experts. As a TeamBonding client, you benefit from years of experience. You work with a proven partner accustomed to delivering turnkey solutions that make you look good. And when it comes to customizing something like a scavenger hunt or culinary competition, you won’t find a better-qualified resource. In short, we are uniquely successful because we help make teams like yours successful.
4. What if our people don’t like to participate in group programs? The TeamBonding staff is very effective at getting people involved right from the start. All of our events are finely tuned to be engaging, non-stressful and energetic. We normally have most attendees participating within minutes – actually taking on active roles and having fun. There’s an art to this, and it’s safe to say we have it down. Just one more reason our programs have nearly 100% involvement, always generating terrific post-program feedback.
5. How much lead time does TeamBonding need? How much time do you have? Sometimes a client will contact us six months in advance, apologizing for waiting till the last minute. The next call we get may be for an important event taking place next week. We recently delivered a program for Philip Morris at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC on a Tuesday. The event had been booked on the prior Saturday. We flew down on Sunday to do research and pre-production, and the event was a big hit. Please contact us now and let us know your timeline; we’ll let you know the best way to proceed from there.
6. How much does TeamBonding charge? Programs typically range from $1,500 – $5,000 depending upon the size of your team. However, each program is completely customized to your specific needs and agenda. We’ll be happy to quote you a price once we understand your goals and objectives. Give us a call, or fill out a simple proposal request to get a fast quote.
7. Does travel cost extra? Who handles travel plans? We are set up to travel – from our perspective, it’s simply part of the game. Many of our programs involve hand-selected local facilitators. Otherwise, we travel lightly, sending in a lead facilitator and hiring from a network of talented locals to assist whenever possible. We work to keep costs down as a way to insure that travel costs don’t become an issue when hiring TeamBonding. And yes, we’re happy to handle all our own travel arrangements.
